Guacamole
This recipe is my variation on the original New York Times Cookbook. As simple as it seems, everybody raves about it so I thought I'd include it.
- 1 avocado, large and ripe
- 1/2 - 1 cup onions, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1-3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 10 drops Tabasco sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
- slug cayenne pepper
- salt to taste
- Mash the avocado until almost smooth and mix in the remaining ingredients. Serve with corn chips.
