Guacamole

This recipe is my variation on the original New York Times Cookbook. As simple as it seems, everybody raves about it so I thought I'd include it.

 

 

• 1 avocado, large and ripe
• 1/2 - 1 cup onions, finely chopped
• 2 Tbsp. lime juice
• 1-3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
• 10 drops Tabasco sauce
• 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
• slug cayenne pepper
• salt to taste

 

1. Mash the avocado until almost smooth and mix in the remaining ingredients. Serve with corn chips.
