A standard recipe which works very well in the special popover cups given to me by Mom.



  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • splash salt



  1. Preheat the oven containing the dry popover pan to 425°.
  2. Combine the ingredients with a whisk.
  3. Brush a tablespoon of butter into each cup moistening the sides.
  4. Divide the batter among the six cups.  Bake 15 minutes at 425° and then 20 minutes at 325°.
